Boquillas Atomizadoras de Aire Decrease Maintenance Time During Defect Marking Application
A paper mill was looking for a way to decrease their maintenance time during their defect marking application. To assure their customers there are no holes in the paper, a light bar detects any holes and triggers the guns to spray red ink. Unfortunately, the mill encountered severe overspray problems with their existing spray system. As a result, the light bar would need to be cleaned four to five times per shift. By adding Spraying Systems Co.'s pressure-fed ¼JAUPM automatic air atomizing nozzles to their system, they found they had better control of the spray pattern when compared to a gravity-fed system where the head pressure changes as it is being sprayed. With this system, they only need to clean the light bar once per shift and have eliminated their overspray problems.
