We offer a complete line of spray nozzles for use in
steel mills in the cooling of slabs, blooms and billets;
the descaling of steel in thin and thick slab operations
and the cooling, cleaning and rinsing of steel and strip.
We also have nozzles for cooling roll lengths and widths,
nozzles for rinsing and cooling in pickling lines,
nozzles for quenching and cooling in coke plants and
nozzles for liquor flushing. In addition to a wide range

AA218AC/AA214 DescaleJet spray nozzles:
- Several models of self-aligning DescaleJet nozzles are available for use in hot strip mills. Where spray heights of 6" to 12" (152 to 305 mm) are required our 218 model fits the bill. Use the 214 model for heights of 2" to 6" and lower capacities.
- Used after roughing stands, deliver a flat spray pattern with up to 50% more impact than conventional nozzles.
- Internal vane stabilizes spray and enables higher impact to be achieved.
- Stainless steel body and spray tip holder provide heavy outer protection from splash-back wear and flying debris.
